Lakeyah Drops Video for "313-414" f/ Tee Grizzley, Announces Upcoming 'Gangsta Grillz' Project

Quality Control signee Lakeyah has just dropped her latest single "313-414" featuring Tee Grizzley, and announced her upcoming 'Gangsta Grillz' tape, 'My Time.'

Lakeyah taps Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley to join her on her newest single, “313-414,” which comes with fresh visuals shot in her hometown of Milwaukee. Lakeyah has also just announced the release of her upcoming Gangsta Grillz project, My Time.

The track features Tee Grizzley and Lakeyah playing telephone with each other as they take turns killing the Gangsta Grillz beat with the legendary DJ Drama’s voice reverberating in the background. Shot by Jerry Production, the music video that accompanies “313-414” takes a similar approach to Lakeyah and Grizzley’s verses, jumping from scenes of the two rappers on a roof, to them spitting in the alleyways, and across different parts of the 313. Being the home of the newly crowned NBA champions, Milwaukee Bucks, Lakeyah is shown repping her city hard and rocking the team’s jersey as we get glimpses of championship banners on the street.

The cover art for Lakeyah’s Gangsta Grillz tape, My Time, also honors the rapper’s hometown team, with her firmly grasping the Larry O’Brien Trophy as confetti falls around her. The 11-song project includes “313-414,” and features from Tyga, Moneybagg Yo, and Bankroll Freddie. Guided by the diligent hands of DJ Drama on the 1’s and 2’s, the Quality Control artist looks to show her growth from 2021 XXL Freshman to an established artist whose aim is only upwards.

My Time is due out next week, Sept. 24. In the meantime, watch the music video for Lakeyah’s new single “313-414” featuring Tee Grizzley up top and stream the track below.
