The elite rapper/producer tandem of Juicy J and Pi’erre Bourne have linked up to release their new single, “This Fronto,” and also announced the title and release date of their upcoming collaborative album, Space Age Pimpin’, which is due out later this month on June 22.
“This Fronto” is exactly what you’d expect from a collaboration between J and Bourne. Both are extremely skilled producers who also have talents on the mic, and this track exemplifies that. Gliding over the masterful production, Juicy J and Bourne take turns rapping about the different recreational drugs they enjoy using. Bourne’s slick wordplay is paired well with J’s club-bouncing beats and cadences, making for a song that’s built for the club or the moshpit.
“This Fronto” also comes with news of Bourne and J’s upcoming joint album, Space Age Pimpin’, which will be executive produced by the southern rapper. Juicy J also shared some shots of him and Bourne together with the album title on social media.
Space Age Pimpin’ is set to arrive right as summer starts to get in full swing, and based on the energy “This Fronto” has, it’s safe to assume the rest of the album will be laced with addictive beats and several enjoyable moments.
