Atlanta's two A-list rappers, Future and Young Thug, took advantage of their status to secure the No. 2 spot of Billboard's 200 album chart this week for their collaborative effort Super Slimey. After the two artists settled their beef that spurred from Twitter shots last year, Future and Young Thug came together for photo-ops, events, and eventually an entire album.

In an interview with Complex, Atlanta producer Southside admitted the project "has no official timetable because we don’t work like that. Like we don’t do any of Future music like that, no official start date, we just go to the studio and have fun, and after we have made six or 700 songs we will pick the album. Literally."

Super Slimey moved 75,000 album equivalent units in its first week, which includes 15,000 in traditional album sales.

Southside made it sound like a sequel to Super Slimey could be a possibility. After seeing what these two are capable of with this first edition, the next wave might take it to a whole new level.
