Watch Lil Wayne Skate Through Life in His "Piano Trap" and "Not Me" Video

The only thing Wayne might love as much as the studio is skating.

The only thing Lil Wayne might love as much as the studio is skating. So, it's only right that Weezy decided to release a skate video instead of shooting a traditional visual for his singles.

On Monday, Wayne showed fans how he's been spending his quarantine by releasing an over seven-minute long video of him skating. Not only does he land some impressive street tricks, but the clip also serves as the official music video for his singles, "Piano Trap" and "Not Me."

In an email to Rolling Stone, Wayne explained that the video came to fruition after his skating partner, Yosef "Yoyo" Rateliff, sent him a video of him skating with "Piano Trap" in the background.

"It was money from there!" Wayne said before revealing which trick from the clip he feels was most impressive.

"I was happiest with the banger at the end! In Barcelona, the 180 to fake shuv! It was like 5 a.m. and those homies who was lit at the end were unknown to me!" Wayne said. "They were just out there kickin it! And they literally didn’t bother me until I landed that shit! And it took me about an hour or two."

Both "Not Me" and "Piano Trap" were featured on Funeral which Wayne released in January. The video also follows the premiere of Weezy's Young Money Radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio. The first episode dropped on Friday and hosted guests like Travis Scott, Babyface, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, and more. Wayne also played unreleased music that is set to appear on the deluxe version of Funeral.
