Prison can't stop Kodak Black from handing out bars.

On Friday, a video was posted to Black's Instagram account showing the rapper on the video visitation phone. Through the camera, Kodak decides to flip the coronavirus pandemic into bars about his social observations and life behind bars.

"This for the little kids in Africa, stomachs touching they back/And the kids in China been eating bats for a snack," Kodak raps. "They need to be wiser and I ain't talking 'bout beer/Because corona got the whole world in fear." Kodak then transitions to his experiences in prison.

"I wonder what the excuse gonna be when the world ending?/And when it do I just hope I ain't in prison," Black continues. "Tryna stay updated with this hip-hop shit/And my son don't answer the phone, he on that TikTok shit/And COVID-19 ain't got nothing to do with me 'cause I’m from 1800 block–it ain't got nothing to do wit me!"

Earlier this month, Kodak Black pled guilty to weapon charges in New York. These charges stem from an incident in April 2019 when Kodak and his team were stopped at the Canadian border. State police say the rapper and his camp had marijuana and a loaded pistol without a permit. Now, the rapper is looking at two to seven years in prison for second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
