UPDATED 12/2, 6:50 p.m. ET: T.I. has taken to IG to respond to Wack 100's comments about Nipsey Hussle not being a legend. "This shit say Nipsey all over it," T.I. wrote in the caption of the post, which featured the definition of the word "legend." He continued, "Record sales and #1 hits ain’t the only barometer for legendary status. IMPACT is what’s important. Although his notoriety DID grow exponentially more after his demise... his impact is undeniable. #HadToBeSaid."

Hit-Boy also responded.

Wack 100 continues to combat Nipsey Hussle's legendary status.

While attending the Game's 40th birthday/retirement party on Saturday, Wack explained to TMZ why he believes Nipsey isn't a legend. Wack states that his opposition isn't aimed at Hussle specifically, rather he takes objection to the confusion surrounding the title.

"What's a legend? Define a legend?" Wack asked. "Let's keep it real. If Dr. Dre died right now we would say we lost a legend, right? Based upon what? Numbers, right? Body of work. How many albums did Nipsey drop? One album. This not no personal shit I'm talking about. This just some real shit... We have to define what the fuck a legend is."

Wack did admit that Nipsey was on his way to becoming a legendary act, but his life was cut short before he was able to achieve this goal. He also detailed that having a difference in opinion doesn't mean that he's disrespecting the legacy Hussle left behind.

"The truth could never be defined as disrespect," Wack continued. "If it is that means you lying to your motherfucking self. That's like a motherfucker saying 'Aye, Wack. You a little short motherfucker.' And I get mad. That's the truth."

The public was first made aware of Wack's feelings through a leaked audio clip in October and doubled down on these comments during an interview with the No Jumper podcast in November. He also called the posthumous support and love that Nipsey is receiving fake because the rapper should have gotten this praise while he was still alive.

"All these radio stations, all these people is all fake," Wack told No Jumper. "I can speak on it because I was part of the Nipsey Hussle movement getting him his first multi-million dollar deal... You got a man who died with a million followers and no radio hit and no fucking platinum plaques... So where was all these fans?... He didn't die an A-list artist. Y'all talking about he's a legend. If he's a legend why didn't y'all treat him like that when he was here?"

This didn't sit well with Hussle's supporters. Some fans decided to attack Wack for his opinion while others took aim at Blueface who was present during the interview. This prompted the rapper to respond with tweets that distance him from his manager's statements.

Game is one of the rappers that Wack considers as a legend. Game has been instrumental in uplifting Nipsey's status since his death. But he made it clear to TMZ that he respects Wack's right to have an opinion.

"What Wack say is what he say," Game said when asked about Wack's comments. "Whatever Wack says that's his opinion. He's got his own opinion. I got my own opinion."
