Travis Scott Drops New Song and Video for "Highest in the Room"

Scott also dropped a video for the track.

Travis Scott has finally released his highly anticipated track, "Highest in the Room."

A video for "Highest in the Room," directed by Dave Meyers and Travis Scott, was also released. Check it out up top via YouTube.

Travis announced that he would be releasing the song, which features production from OZ, NIK D, and Mike Dean, to the public on Tuesday. This comes after he's been teasing and performing track for months.

Fans will be able to purchase the single on cassette, vinyl, and digital stream at Travis' website.

The "Highest in the Room" release adds to the many blessings Travis has given fans throughout the year. Fans got a taste of Travis' life on tour and his transition into fatherhood via his Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can FlyThe film also documented the journey leading up to the release of his commercially successful and critically acclaimed album, ASTROWORLD. This project spurred a series of hits and spent two weeks atop the Billboard chart. Scott is now looking to build on this momentum with "Highest in the Room."

Before dropping the track, Scott linked with Zane Lowe on Apple Music's Beats 1. During the chat, Travis talked about the new single, the Look Mom I Can Fly doc, .WAV RADIO's return, and his new sneakers. Check it out below.

Trav also linked with Postmates on the occasion of "Highest in the Room" to create the “Travis Scott Collection.” La Flame's faves from Houston and L.A.—including Jamba Juice, Shake Shack, and Chipotle—will all offer menus inspired by the artist.

On Monday, Oct. 7, Chart Data reported that the 3.94 million streams "Highest in the Room" has cooked up designate it as "the biggest debut for a single released separate from an album in US Spotify history."
