Rod Wave Drops New Video for "The Greatest," Shares 'Pray 4 Love' Tracklist

"The Greatest" will be featured on Rod Wave's upcoming album 'Pray 4 Love,' which drops on Friday.

Rod Wave released the visual for his latest single, "The Greatest," on Wednesday.

In the clip, director All The Smoke follows Wave as the rapper interacts with fans, which aligns nicely with the song's theme of overcoming hardships. Similar to his other songs, Wave details the struggles he faced during his youth, but instead of dwelling on the past, Wave celebrates his newfound success.

"Momma catch your son I'm on TV/They didn't believe me/Nigga went and got it off the greasy/It's hard but I make it look easy," Wave raps. "And I ain't never sold no crack, but I'm so street I can cook it."

He then makes the smooth transition to his captivating singing voice to deliver a bridge and outro that touch on the impact his music has had on his fans.

"It's so hard to find a way/But you're bound to see brighter days," Wave sings. "You're like the greatest, you're like the greatest to me."

"The Greatest" will be featured on Rod Wave's upcoming album Pray 4 Love, which drops on Friday. Wave already shared the video for the album's title track, and also shared the project's tracklist.
