Rick Ross Says a Joint Album with Drake is Under 'Serious Consideration'

From “Aston Martin Music” to “Stay Scheming,” “Lord Knows,” and other tracks, it’s safe to say Drake and Rick Ross create magic when they come together.

Rick Ross is one of the few artists that can actually accompany Drake in his ascent to new musical and lyrical heights.

After releasing a slew of classic tracks together—including their latest collaboration, “Lemon Pepper Freestyle”—Rozay and Drizzy are now toying with the idea of recording a joint album.

During a recent conversation with Miasia Symone and MSL Media, Rozay revealed that there is “serious consideration” from the two camps about teaming up for an album.

“After our latest release. … ‘Lemon Pepper Freestyle,’” Rozay said at the interview’s seven-minute mark. “We had that conversation and it’s most definitely under serious consideration.”

This isn’t the first time a joint project from The Boss and The Boy has been tossed around. After “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” set social media ablaze, Miami native and former NFL superstar, Chad Johnson, claimed that the duo is working on a collab album that will make fans forget about their old classics.

“The joint album they’re doing together will unseat all projects they’ve done to date,” Johnson tweeted.

Ochocinco’s prediction won’t be an easy accomplishment. From “Aston Martin Music” to “Stay Scheming,” “Lord Knows,” and other tracks, it’s safe to say Drake and Rick Ross create magic when they come together. Yet, their latest collaborations, “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” made history when it debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The track sat behind the other two tracks from Drake’s Scary Hours 2, EP—“What’s Next” at No. 1 and “Wants and Needs” with Lil Baby at No. 2. That accomplishment made Drake the first artist in history to have three songs debut in the top 3 of the Hot 100 chart. And none of it would’ve been possible without a helping hand from the Biggest.
