Juice WRLD's passing led to a surge in his streaming numbers.

When Juice's death was announced on Sunday, fans decided to commemorate his passing by streaming through his discography. According toBuzzAngle Music, this resulted in 38.2 million streams in the United States on Sunday alone. That was nearly a 487 percent spike and almost 24 million more plays than any other artist.

The increase in Juice WRLD's streams pushed the artist to the top of the charts on almost every platform. He held four of the top 10 songs on Spotify and Apple Music while also claiming the top three spots on Amazon's Movers and Shakers list. "Lucid Dreams" was the most-streamed song, accounting for nearly 4.4 million of the plays. Coming in second is Juice WRLD's tribute to Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, "Legends." This track holds a sense of relevance because Juice seems to predict his death with the lyrics, "What’s the 27 Club?/We ain’t making it past 21." Juice's hits "Robbery" and "All Girls Are the Same" also made top 10 on Sunday.

Additionally, Juice WRLD beat out artists like Roddy Ricch and Camila Cabello to have the top album of the day. His debut LP Goodbye & Good Riddance moved around 13,000 album equivalent units on Sunday to claim the No. 1 spot. The project was followed by this year's Death Race For Love, which became Juice WRLD's first chart-topping album. The news of his death added another 10,300 album equivalent units to its total, making it Sunday's second-best-selling project.
