After years of beefing, Drake and Chris Brown were able to bury the hatchet. This maturity moved Drizzy to allude their growth when he wished Breezy a happy birthday.
The Dark Lane Demo Tapesartist took to Instagram on Tuesday to send CB a birthday shout-out.
"More life more music more success for you @chrisbrownofficial," Drake wrote. "We came a long way over the years my g."
To say Drake and Chris Brown had their differences would be putting it lightly. For years, the two traded shots. Things reached their height in 2012 when the pair got into an altercation at a New York City nightclub. The fight ended with Brown being struck by a bottle and Tony Parker getting caught in the middle.
But in 2018, the pair were able to put their egos aside and end their beef. Drizzy and Breezy made it official by collaborating on the song "No Guidance." The song went on to become a platinum-selling single, but the duo added to its appeal by toying with their 2012 altercation in the music video. Brown also made an appearance on Drake's newest hit project, Dark Lane Demo Tapes.
