After a nearly fatal overdose, Demi Lovato is out of rehab and reportedly clean and sober.

On Saturday (Nov. 3), the singer was spotted by TMZ leaving the Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA. According to the publication, she and a male friend enjoyed their meal and the "Stone Cold" singer looked happy and healthy. In addition to being spotted at a spa, this is one of Demi's first public sightings since late-July when an overdose led to a short hospital stay and a 90-day stint in rehab. This is an optimistic time for Demi's friends and family as a source told TMZ that she took her rehab stay "very seriously" and that "her sobriety is everything."

This promising news is great for music fans to hear. Demi's nearly fatal experience coupled with the death of other acts like Mac Miller and Lil Peep's overdoses cast a dark shadow. But, now, through her healthy reemergence, Demi is becoming a refreshing spotlight.
