Boosie Badazz has once again attempted to clarify the comments he made about Dwyane Wade's daughter, Zaya. During an Instagram Live session on Monday, the rapper explained that he has no malice towards the LGBTQ+ community.

"I got gay people around me. I got nothing against no gay people," Boosie said. "I got gay people that work for me. I got gay people in my family. All I said was don't do that, man."

But Boosie couldn't help but criticize today's parents, saying that adults are "giving the children the fucking power," and lamented that child abuse is frowned upon. "We already can't whoop em—we go to jail," he added. "Everything they come with and say they wanna do we gonna let them do it? 'Daddy, I want to make bombs.' You gonna give them the fucking method? What's parenting gonna be? In ten years the children gonna be the parents."

In February, Wade made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he shared the story of how the 12-year-old Zaya came out as transgender. Soon after, Boosie jumped on social media, and made a number of transphobic comments aimed at the Wade family.

"I gotta say something about this shit, bro. Dwyane Wade, you gone too fucking far, dawg," Boosie said at the time. "That is a male. A 12-year-old. At 12, they don’t even know what they next meal gon' be. They don’t have shit figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her. But his dick be gone—how he gon'—like, bruh, you going too far, dawg."

Despite the backlash from those controversial comments, and the fact that his mother told him to "stay out people’s business," Boosie stood by his comments on Monday's Live, arguing that young people aren't equipped to make big decisions. "At 11 or 12 I don't know if I'm going shopping at Dillard's or Footlocker. Ya heard?" Boosie said. "I don't know if I'm going to college or staying. Big decisions I can't make yet."
