'The Breakfast Club' Shares Why 6ix9ine Is Not Welcome Back If He's Released From Prison

6ix9ine delivered some of the most popular appearances in the history of The Breakfast Club, but it appears like the will not be welcoming him back with open arms.

During Tuesday's episode of the show, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy allege that they both received separate offers to interview 6ix9ine when he's released from prison. According to Charlamagne, he told the caller that he was not interested in a one-on-one interview but he will bring the topic to his co-hosts at The Breakfast Club. From here, Envy, Charlamagne, and Angela Yee explain why they will not open their airwaves for 6ix9ine.

"You decided to tell on everyone that you was just riding on," Envy said at the clip's two-minute mark when summarizing 6ix9ine's fall from stardom. "You turned on everybody. You get released and now you're rewarded for it? I just don't necessarily think it's a message that I want to do. I don't want to promote to kids that you go wild and do some stupid ish and you just go tell on the people you've done and all of a sudden you come out and can put out records and it's all cool."

As for Charlamagne, he believes that 6ix9ine doesn't offer anything of educational value.

"When we sit down with someone, it has to entertain or educate or possibly both," Charlamagne said. "Would it be entertaining? I'm sure it would be. But I think it could absolutely send the wrong message. There's a lot of miseducation in that 6ix9ine situation."

Yee decides to step in and play devil's advocate. 6ix9ine's legal situation has been a hot button issue that almost everyone has an opinion on. Yee suggests that giving him an interview could offer him a platform for him to speak for himself. Charlamagne responded by explaining that dispelling these rumors should be the least of 6ix9ine's worries.

"That young man has a target on his back," he said. "He needs to come home and figure out his life. Figure out who he is as a man before he jumps into the character of 6ix9ine. Daniel Hernandez has to do some soul searching."

This follows reports claiming that 6ix9ine will be released from prison this week. Those close to the situation tell Charlamagne that the rapper could be home as early as Wednesday. He'll reportedly be protected by around-the-clock security. To pay for this, it will be necessary for 6ix9ine to continue his music career. His former record label, 10K Projects, will reportedly give him the opportunity to do this. Per TMZ, the company signed 6ix9ine to a new deal despite his fate being in the balance.
