Drake's "Nice For What" features a vocal sample of Lauryn Hill's 1998 hit "Ex-Factor," in which she sings, "Care for me, care for me, you said you'd care for me." Care For Me also happens to be the name of Saba's new album, so it was only fitting that he put his own spin on the track.
Saba first teased his "Nice For What Freestyle" on Saturday along with the note, "I'm just having fun."
Now, the full thing is here, and the song is Saba at his most energetic and confident. On Care For Me, the Chicago rapper dialed in on his ability to be introspective and transparent about personal issues, and "Nice For What Freestlye" is his chance to let loose. But of course, that doesn't stop him from dropping self-aware lines like, "Can't lie, I'm pretty public for an introvert."
