Justin Timberlake earned his fourth No. 1 ranking album this week as Man of the Woods debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with 293,000 equivalent album units sold.

Interestingly, the bulk of Timberlake's number came from traditional sales—not streaming. 242,000 of his total came from traditional album sales, in addition to 14,000 track equivalent albums and 37,000 streaming equivalent albums. Of the traditional albums sold, 139,000 were digital albums, 89,000 were CDs, and 15,000 were vinyl LPs.

For comparison, Timberlake’s last album, The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2), debuted at the top of the chart with 350,000 traditional album sales. The first part of The 20/20 Experience sold 968,000 copies in its first week. His other No. 1 album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, sold 684,000 copies in its opening week.

This was the biggest week for an album since Taylor Swift's Reputation debuted at No. 1 in December with 1.24 million units sold.

Elsewhere on the chart, Migos' Culture II dropped to No. 2 with 88,000 units after debuting at No. 1 last week and the soundtrack to The Greatest Showman rounded out the top three with 81,000 units.

Man of the Woods' numbers were helped in part by the timing of his Super Bowl LII halftime performance, which took place two days after the album dropped. Aside from an infamous selfie that immediately turned into a meme, the performance was highlighted by a tribute to Prince.

"It's a moment for me if I'm being quite honest," Timberlake said about the tribute in an interview with Jimmy Fallon. "[Prince has] always been the pinnacle of musicianship for me, and when we decided that, like, the serendipity and synergy that we would be in Minneapolis and that he's such a special thing here aside from what he is all over the world. I just felt like I wanted to do something for this city and something for him that would just be the ultimate homage to what I consider the G.O.A.T. of musicians."
