Lil Yachty has definitely mastered the art of making dab-worthy music.
Just a few days after announcing The Boat Show tour kicking off this August, he shares with his fans a new track called “First M Freestyle.” Over production by Earl, the lighthearted record finds Lil Boat throwing together some free associative rhymes about all kinds of topics: girls, Tekken, his dislike of caviar, his first million, four-headed showers, and more. Each line that he hits on beat will make you dab or scream “Skrrt Skrrt!"; he just has that effect on you.
Lil Yachty has linked up with a number of newer artists since hitting the rap scene, recently appearing on Quality Control labelmate Rich the Kid’s Rich Forever 2 and appearing on Post Malone’s August 26 mixtape. Besides dropping his first tape back in March, he hasn’t hinted at any new solo work for this year. Hopefully this freestyle means he’s gearing up to release something soon.
