Lil Uzi Vert isn’t letting the long weekend get in the way of him releasing new music.
Earlier Sunday, the North Philadelphia native shared a track titled “Sub Zero” (stylized as $UB ZERO) on his SoundCloud. Produced by newcomer Maaly Raw, the dreamy, turn-up anthem finds Lil Uzi boasting about his chain (“it’s on subzero”) and how much money he’s stacking up. It’s nothing too left-field from what he’s rapped about before, but it’ll definitely get a MDW party going.
Earlier this year, we co-signed Lil Uzi as the next wave in hip-hop. So far, he’s been consistent in his releases and April’s Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World garnered him a ton of attention. He recently teamed up with Wiz Khalifa on the 808 Mafia banger “Pull Up.” It appears Lil Uzi is well on his way to rap stardom.
