Future isn’t letting Drakeand Meek Millhave all the fun today. Out of nowhere, the Atlanta rapper/crooner has announced another mixtape, Purple Reign, which is executive producedby DJ Esco and Metro Boomin’. The title Purple Reign stems from his upcoming 22-city tour with Ty Dolla $ign that’ll be starting on Feb. 17 in Madison, WI. Of course, his What a Time to Be Alive collaborator Drake has promoted the tape on Instagram. Will we get another one from the duo?
Since 2011, Future has released a new mixtape in the second week of January. Purple Reign will mark Future's first project in 2016. It follows WATTBA and Dirty Sprite 2, as well as his string of critically acclaimed mixtapes: Monster, Beast Mode and 56 Nights. Let's not forget Future still has Ape Shit, his tape with Mike WiLL Made-It, and sequels to Monsterand Beast Modeslated for this year too.
