Hear CyHi the Prynce's 'Lost' Verse on Kanye West's "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1"

Kanye West’s "Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1" is arguably one of the best songs of the year. Anytime you hear Metro Boomin’s tag and Kid Cudi’s “beautiful morning…” lyric, the energy in any room goes way up. But what would happen if instead of Kanye’s verse, you heard this “lost” version featuring CyHi the Prynce? Would it change your opinion at all?

Well, CyHi is making a strong case for Kanye to give The Life of Pablo another tweak. In an Instagram post on Thursday, the rapper shared two videos of him cruising in his whip and rapping along to a "Father Stretch My Hands” with his vocals on it. He even reinterpreted Cudi's hook, too, adding his style with: “Like 2’ in the morning, slaying two bitches inside of my California bed/fuck it I was hornyyy.” From there, he goes off for about a minute (“CyHi, I’m a liter like four cups/Boy, I’m a Ceasar like a low cut” is a pretty good bar), delivering a top-notch performance that rivals his appearance on “So Appallad.”

He ends the second video by boasting that other rappers could never get this beat, which is true since Kanye likes to keep his circle close. Maybe someday we’ll hear the CDQ version that Kanye offers for his on-again, off-again G.O.O.D. Fridays series. But for now, these Insta-vids will have to do. Check them out below.
