Chinx’s posthumous album, Welcome to JFK, is set to arrive on Aug. 14 nearly three months after his passing. JFK is his debut after years in the mixtape circuit, churning out hits with his fellow Coke Boy, French Montana. JFK will have contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Durk and the late Riot Squad member Stack Bundles.
There have been several songs out on iTunes since the project went up for pre-order and the last one is the most emotional for Chinx fans. “Die Young” features R&B crooner MeetSims, French and Zack, where they all lament about facing death at an early age. Chinx, who finishes the song, may have the heaviest verse: “I pray that I be OK if I grow up a little bigger / If I don’t, tell my babies daddy was a real n***a.” Listen to "Die Young" below and pre-order JFK on iTunes now.
