Here's 2 Chainz's Reaction to Being Excluded From Eminem's 'Revival' Tracklist

Is 2 Chainz mad that Eminem didn't feature him on his album?

Thanks to 2 Chainz’s engineer, Nolan Presley, fans found out Tity Boi and Eminem were in the studio working on new music earlier this year. The photos that him and Chainz posted on their Instagram in June got fans speculating where this collaboration would end up.

Six months later, Eminem has an album called Revival coming, and the tracklist revealed only one rap feature: Phresher. Chainz supported the announcement by posting it on his Instagram, but his emojis weren’t exactly praiseworthy.

It appears as if Chainz may be bothered by the omission, and rightfully so. Phresher revealed to This Is 50 that when him and Em were recording “Chloraseptic,” the Shady Records team told him that 2 Chainz would appear on the song and he got to hear his verse. But his name is nowhere to be found on the official tracklist.

There’s been some speculation by fans that Chainz being left off the album is why he’s mad. But Em is known to have deluxe versions of his albums that often feature new artists. For The Marshall Mathers LP 2, he had five new songs added to the 16-track album, with two in collaboration with Jamie N Commons and Sia. Slaughterhouse also appeared on Recovery for "Session One."

So, maybe Chainz jumped the gun a bit with his reaction. Or he just really wanted to be on the standard edition as opposed to being on a bonus track. Whatever the case is, we’ll just keep thinking of theories about Chainz’ involvement until the Dec. 15 release date arrives.
