Twitter Is Joking That DJ Khaled's 'They' Catchphrase Is About Birdman

People are on Twitter joking about DJ Khaled's "they" catchphrase being about Birdman.

One of the biggest storylines to come out of Rick Ross' new album Rather You Than Me is the veteran rapper taking direct shots at Birdman on "Idols Become Rivals." What's now beginning to stir up controversy online is Rozay claiming Birdman did DJ Khaled dirty on the track.

"What hurt me the most, nigga, is how you did my brother Khaled, nigga," he says at the end of the song. "Khaled was loyal to you, nigga. The pain I seen in my brother eyes, nigga, FaceTiming, my nigga. Nigga, he took that to the chin."

While it's unclear what Ross is specifically referring to, Khaled and his We the Best label was previously aligned with Birdman's Cash Money Records. So it's quite possible that some kind of shady business dealings went down and Khaled was negatively affected. Birdman does have a history of this type of behavior.

Fans on Twitter have taken these words from Ross and jokingly connected it with Khaled's "they" catchphrase, which he uses to describe people that have attempted to hold him back from success.

Khaled has yet to address the Ross comments.
