There may now be a new official explanation behind Lil Wayne's recent hospitalization.

During an interview with DJ Felli Fel of Power 106 in Los Angeles, Weezy explained that he suffers from epilepsy, a neurological condition which is noted by seizures. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh seizure," Wayne said. "I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about them. But this time, it got real bad because I had three of them in a row."

The New Orleans rapper went on to say that while his team is typically prepared to handle his seizures, the frequent outburst of seizures in this incident were not possible for them to handle without the hospitalization. He also indicated that after the third seizure, his heart rate went down significantly.

Also during the interview, Wayne spoke on his recently released album, I Am Not A Human Being II, sarcastically claiming to "hate it." He also poked fun at his inability to place on the MTV's Hottest MC's list, initially claiming that he must have upset someone at MTV. When asked if he liked MTV, Weezy answered instead that he "liked ESPN."

Wayne was also asked about whether he disliked TMZ for their coverage of his hospitalization, but the rapper claimed that he had no issues with it.
