SeaWorld is a wonderful place where you can see sharks, eels, and, now, Soulja Boy and Bow Wow perform. Yeah, you read that right.
Over the weekend, park visitors got to experience the exclusive link up from the two former teen stars as part of SeaWorld San Diego’s 2024 Summer Concert Series.
Videos posted on TikTok and X show hyped up crowds twerking as the two performed hits like “Crank That,” “Donk,” and “Take Ya Home.” The date also coincided with Soulja Boy’s birthday, so the crowd took the time to serenade the rapper who clearly enjoyed the moment.
Aside from performing, Soulja Boy had another huge moment at Sea World when he announced that he was the first rapper to ever throw a fish in a whale’s mouth. This guy always beats everyone to the punch.
It’s nice to see Soulja Boy and Bow Wow together, knowing their long, troubling history. Sure, they did Verzuz together in 2021 — but before that they had real beef. Imagine Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar, but through a late 2000s filter.
After initially collaborating for “Marco Polo” in 2008, Soulja Boy went on to diss Bow Wow publicly in early 2009 after the latter mentioned him in a song. That same year, Soulja Boy dropped “F*ck Bow Wow,” Bow Wow dropped “What I Think About You” and their beef simmered for more than half a decade before they released a tape together in 2016.
