Father Shares a Cover of Mýa's "The Best of Me"

Awful Records leader Father shares a syrupy and engrossing cover of Mýa​'s 2000 hit song, "The Best of Me." His take on the track here is a significantly slower and darker interpretation than the upbeat tone present in the song's initial form.

This of course isn't the first time that someone has reinterpreted "The Best of Me." In 2000, the song was remixed by Trackmasters with new vocals by Mýa and a bonus verse from Jay-Z for inclusion on the documentary soundtrack Backstage: A Hard Knock Life. Check out Father's rendition below.
