The duo first emerged in 2016 with their debut album Yes Lawd!, a project that blended .Paak's soulful vocals with Knxwledge's sample-heavy production. The chemistry between the two created something distinct in the hip-hop landscape, a sound that felt both nostalgic and fresh.
