Fans of KPop Demon Hunters can now pick up the film’s soundtrack on vinyl and CD at Complex.
The album includes tracks from the hit Netflix animated film such as “Golden,” “Takedown,” “How It’s Done,” “Your Idol,” “Soda Pop,” and “What It Sounds Like.”
KPop Demon Hunters centers on the fictional girl group Huntr/x, made up of members Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, who balance their double lives as K-Pop idols by night and demon hunters by day, defending their fans from supernatural threats. Their main adversaries, the Saja Boys, appear to be just another popular boy band, but are secretly demons themselves.
The soundtrack features singing performances by EJAE as Rumi, Audrey Nuna as Mira, Rei Ami as Zoey, Broadway and Disney icon Lea Salonga as Celina (Rumi’s foster mother), Andrew Choi as Jinu of the Saja Boys, and former U-KISS member Kevin Woo as the singing voice of the Mystery Saga.
The soundtrack exploded in popularity since it premiered on Netflix in June. The film's breakout track "Golden" has spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Other songs like "Soda Pop" and "Your Idol" have also reached the top 10.
Meanwhile, the soundtrack recently spent its second week at the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
Fans can also purchase the soundtrack on picture disc vinyl, smokey fuschia vinyl, or CD at Complex. Individual seven-inch vinyl singles for "Golden," "Takedown," "How It's Done," "Soda Pop," "Your Idol," and "What It Sounds Like" can are also up for grabs in addition to a special Huntr/x t-shirt and two posters.
