The Syl Johnson vs. Jay-Z and Kanye West case has recently been dismissed as the two parties came to a settlement agreement, according to court documents released this week.

The lawsuit came because of the song "The Joy," which sampled Johnson's "Different Strokes" without authorization. The track was supposed to be featured on Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy but ultimately appeared on the critically acclaimed Watch The Throne album.

No more details on the case were released as of yet.
