The internet is up in arms about an audio clip where a computer-generated voice is either saying “Yanny” or “Laurel.”

Now, another person is adding his two cents, and that man is named Yanni. What does Yanni hear when listening to the viral snippet? Well “Yanny,” duh.

On Wednesday, the Greek musician—who is widely known for filming a concert at the Acropolis in his home country, according to The Daily Dot—took to Twitter to share a video of himself listening to the clip. “Yanni,” he says laughing with glee.

The video follows a tweet of his from Tuesday, where he wrote, “The reaction you make when people think it’s Laurel and not Yanny... #YanniToBeExact,” alongside a gif of himself.

Is the voice saying “Yanny” or “Laurel”? A lot of people claim to hear one or the other, while some even maintain that they can hear both. People have tried to explain the differing understandings of the audio through the audio’s volume and bass, coupled with the listener’s age and hearing health. Until we can get some proof on whether “Yanny” or “Laurel” is being said, the debate will continue to be a standoff.
