T.I. Claps Back at Fan Who Says He Only Has ‘Two Good Songs,’ Drake Assists

There's no question that T.I. has had a long and fruitful career.

However, one fan didn’t seem to think so. While relaxing in a pool with his daughter, T.I. logged onto Instagram Live and read his followers' comments. During his live session, he came across one remark that boldly stated the Atlanta native hasn’t done much to be considered a lauded rapper.

“It said, ‘T.I. had two good songs I won't lie.’ … If 18 years later, two good songs get your ass out here with this kinda lifestyle, you better get you two good songs then, buddy. … You better start working on them two good songs,” T.I. said, laughing as he pointed the camera at the massive pool he was swimming in. “Can't worry about the lies more than you worry about the truth. Never can do that.”

DJ Akademiks later posted the Instagram Live clip on his account, and Drake had something to say about the fan’s comment. “I think he meant two many good songs,” the OVO head said.

Drake’s right, obviously, as T.I.’s catalog is filled with a number of chart-topping hits, including “Whatever You Like,” “No Mediocre,” “U Don't Know Me,” “Dead and Gone,” “Big Things Poppin’,” “Bring Em Out,” “Live Your Life,” and “You Know What It Is.” He’s also had three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200—Paper Trail, King, T.I. vs. T.I.P.—and two No. 2 albums, Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head and Paperwork.
