While the singer didn't share his identity, she did say he was around "96 or 97" years old.

The mystery man from the cover of Summer Walker’s latest album, Finally Over It, has died.

Walker shared the news on Atlanta’s 96.1 The Beat when she was asked about the identity of the old white man.

“Rest in peace. He was so cool,” the singer said, never revealing the man’s name.

“He was like 96 or 97, and he drove to the video shoot we had. He was really self-sufficient—he’s not actually in a wheelchair. He just popped the wheelchair for the vibes. And, cool guy. He’s been married a long time, and he be acting and stuff.”

Walker released her third studio album, Finally Over It, in mid-November. Days before, she unveiled the album cover, which draws inspiration from 26-year-old Anna Nicole Smith’s 1994 wedding to 89-year-old billionaire oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II.

Cosplaying seems to be a theme for Walker this year. In September, the 29-year-old walked the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet with an anonymous older white gentleman, wearing an outfit inspired by another 90s icon, Pamela Anderson.

Finally Over It is the third chapter in her Over It series, following 2021's Still Over It. The trilogy's first installation, Over It, arrived in 2019 as Walker's debut album. All three offerings topped the Billboard 200, with Over It debuting at No. 2, Still Over It at No. 1—marking her first No. 1 album—and Finally Over It opening at No. 2.
