Snoop Dogg Commemorates New Album and Buying Death Row Records With 'B.O.D.R.' Short Film

Snoop Dogg has shared his new short film 'B.O.D.R.' (Bacc on Death Row) to celebrate his numerous wins, including releasing 'B.O.D.R.' and buying Death Row.

Snoop Dogg is celebrating his recent wins with a new short film, titled B.O.D.R. (Bacc On Death Row).

The Long Beach native shared the 43-minute video on Friday, which is a compilation of music videos, studio footage, and BTS to commemorate his new album, also titled B.O.D.R., and his recent purchase of Death Row Records.

Snoop officially acquired Death Row earlier this month, purchasing it from the Blackstone-controlled company MNRK Music Group. “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” he said. “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.

A couple of days later, he shared B.O.D.R. as the first release from Death Row under his ownership. The album includes assists from Nas, Wiz Khalifa, DaBaby, The Game, Nate Dogg, T.I., Sleepy Brown, Uncle Murda, E-Mo, October London, Nefertitti Avant, HeyDeon, and Jane Handcock.

“B.O.D.R. is especially important to me and I’m excited to have a full-circle moment in my career at this time,” Snoop said at the time of its release. “The album has all the classic Snoop Dogg style with surprises and features from some of the dopest artists out there.”

Two days later, Snoop performed at the Super Bowl with Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Mary J. Blige, memorializing the moment with a new B.O.D.R. chain.
