Premiere: Shordie Shordie Taps BLXST for New Video "Specific"

Shordie Shordie enlisted BLXST for the new single “Specific,” with the accompanying video—which takes the two back to high school—premiering on Complex.

Shordie Shordie has enlisted BLXST for the new single “Specific,” with an accompanying video premiering above.

The Whipalo-directed visual takes the two artists back to school, where they’ve shown interest in the same girl. They both try to court her, with shots of them hanging in the classroom, on the gym bleachers, and doodling in a notebook. Things go left when Shordie and BLXST see that a third guy has shown interest in the girl.

“‘Specific’ embodies the importance of being sure about what you want in a relationship,” Shordie Shordie told us.

“Specific” is Shordie’s first solo music since unveiling his joint project with Murda Beatz back in February, Memory Lane. The 12-song tape featured a guest appearance from Trippie Redd.

BLXST also dropped off his own joint project with Bino Rideaux, titled Sixtape 2, in July.
