Rihanna honored her three children with a new tattoo.
The beauty mogul and singer added to her collection by teaming up with celebrity tattoo artist Keith McCurdy, who inked a drawing by her kids.
McCurdy, also known as Bang Bang, took to Instagram on Friday (May 8) to show off the process of tattooing RiRi, which he wrote was “designed by her babies.” The tattoo is a reproduction of some scribbles from her kids, with McCurdy inking the back of her knee.
Bang Bang has been tattooing the 38-year-old for years. In 2018, he wished her a happy birthday and thanked her for continuing to get work from him.
“Sin’t much to say that I haven’t said already - your co-sign of my shit for the past 10+ years has changed my life,” he wrote. “It’s been my privilege to decorate you - more importantly it’s been an honor to be your friend - thank you.”
He also included several photos of her tattoos that he’s done, including her 1988 ankle piece and the small gun she has on her side.
Rihanna shares 8-month-old Rocki, 2-year-old Riot, and 4-year-old RZA with her partner, ASAP Rocky. The celebrity couple recently made headlines at the Met Gala for her Maison Margiela gown, which was years in the making, and for speculation that they were fighting after the event, which was tamped down by sources who said the pair were simply exhausted.
