Nelly and Ashanti continue to fuel speculation that they’re back together.
Per TMZ, the latest installation of their rumor mill is a video of them in a restaurant, belting Usher’s “Nice & Slow” together. In the clip, you can see them nuzzling their heads together as they sing.
The pair found their way back to each other earlier this year after reuniting in September 2021 for the first time since they broke up in 2013. They were both invited to perform at Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s Verzuz battle, where, at one point, Nelly walked across the stage to hug Ashanti.
The next year, the two performed their 2008 song “Body on Me” at Power 98.3 and 96.1's Under the Mistletoe concert in Arizona. Later, in February 2023, Nelly referred to Ashanti as his “friend” in an interview.
"Time does wonders for a lot of different things," he told Entertainment Tonight. "And time is one those things that allows you time to reflect on what's what, and you get a chance to see things in a different light and see your faults. So I think we both did that and it's cool that we just friends."
