Miguel and his partner, Margaret Zhang, are celebrating their child’s first birthday.
The couple took to Instagram on Monday (Sept. 8) to share a video commemorating the occasion alongside a sweet note to their baby, revealing that he wrote his child a song.
“Our baby turned 1 today !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELITO !!! We love you so much ! So proud and honored that you chose us to be your parents. Papá wrote you a song - hope it always reminds you of how loved you are,” the 39-year-old wrote.
He also tagged Zhang as the video’s director.
The singer-songwriter is seen holding his kid, whose face is blurred out. Miguel has a big smile plastered on his face as he holds up one finger, and the child mimics the movement.
Miguel hopped on his IG Story to share how to listen to the song he wrote for his son and included the link.
The post was a collab between Miguel and Zhang. It’s unclear how long they’ve been together.
Zhang previously served as the editor-in-chief of Vogue China from 2021 to 2024, making her the youngest EIC at Vogue at 27 years old. Now 32, she left the role last year to pursue a career in filmmaking.
