Madlib Loses Home, ‘Decades of Music’ in L.A. Wildfires

DJ Premier and Flying Lotus are among the legends rallying behind Madlib amid his devastating loss.

Madlib lost his home in the Los Angeles fires.

The legendary producer shared the devastating news on Instagram, alongside a donation link.

“We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support in helping legendary producer Madlib and his family rebuild after losing their home, decades of music, and equipment in the devastating LA fires,” the caption says.

Fellow producers DJ Premier and Flying Lotus also shared the donation link through Love Like Water, a nonprofit that provides resources and support for artists through tough times.

“Another great Legend @madlib has completely lost his entire home and belongings to the California fires. A donation box has been set up. This is the only legit link. Thanks Stacy Epps for helping get this organized,” Premier wrote on X.

FlyLo tweeted, “Sad saddd. But it’s a no brainer, we gotta help the legend MADLIB rebuild! Pls help if u can.”

Several other celebrities lost their homes to the fires in Southern California, including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Tina Knowles, Jhené Aiko, Paris Hilton, and Milo Ventimiglia.
