Macklemore’s Seattle home was reportedly robbed over the weekend.

The Seattle Times reported that Macklemore's nanny had just put his three kids to bed when two men approached the home from the patio, broke in, and shot bear spray into her eyes.

The woman later told police that one of the men helped her clean her eyes, “for some unexplainable reason,” adding that he looked “fearful.”

The other man then demanded she lead them to the “jewels,” allegedly yelling, "Where are the jewels, bitch?" She took the intruders to Macklemore’s bedroom, where they allegedly pilfered "thousands of dollars" worth of jewelry, watches, and shoes.

The nanny said that afterward, the men pushed her to the floor and took her phone. That’s when she bit one of the men and fled the home. Doorbell footage obtained by TMZ shows the woman calling for help as she knocks on a neighbor’s door; police subsequently arrived at Macklemore’s house just before 1 a.m. on Saturday.

A video shows the two men escaping the home. The police report doesn’t mention the use of firearms, and the nanny told police that she didn’t see any weapons. She said the intruders wore face masks, gloves, and vests that appeared “tactical in nature.”

The children were thankfully left unharmed and, after the incident, placed in the care of family.

The police report didn’t mention Macklemore by name, just that the burglary occurred at the home of a “high-profile individual,” with his name redacted. It also didn’t include whether the artist was present at the time of the incident.

Last week, Macklemore performed two back-to-back shows in Ireland. The 41-year-old shares 10-year-old Sloane, 7-year-old Colette, and 3-year-old Hugo with his wife, Tricia Davis.
