Logic’s retirement was short-lived.
The Maryland rapper has shared his newest song “Vaccine,” arriving on the heels of his new compilation album YS Collection Vol. 1. The 14-track project dropped on June 25, and featured a number of songs from his Young Sinatra series, his 2018 studio album YSIV, and a new song, “Tokyo Nights.”
June 17 marked the end of Logic’s almost year-long retirement, sending out a press release that evoked Michael Jordan’s 1995 “I’m back” announcement, signaling his return to the NBA. Logic followed that announcement with the new track “Intro.” It seems that the rapper was never really retired though, as he and Madlib released a slew of songs earlier this year from their new collaborative project MadGic. In April, Logic also shared the song “Tired in Malibu.”
