Kendrick Lamar had a special treat for fans in Australia for his Grand National Tour.

On Tuesday (December 9), Schoolboy Q appeared on stage at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium to perform his fan favorite, “Collard Greens.”

Featuring Dot, “Collard Greens” appeared on Q’s third studio album, 2014’s Oxymoron. While it only peaked at No. 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, it's become a beloved collaboration for Kenny and Schoolboy, who often perform it together.

The pair also played the song at Lamar’s 2024 Juneteenth celebration, The Pop Out, during Black Hippy's reunion. In addition to “Collard Greens,” Jay Rock came out for “Money Trees,” and Ab-Soul joined Kendrick for “6:16 in LA.”

Schoolboy Q has never been afraid to give Kendrick his flowers. In 2023, Q revealed just how important his former TDE labelmate has been to him.

“Dot gave me so much confidence. Dot made me a rapper. Dot saved my life. I owe a lot to Dot,” Schoolboy told the Back on Figg podcast. He also shared that when Top wanted to drop him from TDE, Lamar made Q his hype man. “He would tell me to come to the studio all the time, ‘We in the studio, we in the studio. You got your verse ready?’”
