Karol G is ready to bare it all.

On Tuesday (April 7), Playboy announced that the Colombian singer is their Spring issue cover star. Photos shared by the legacy publication show her striking a number of sensual poses.

It seems the only parameter she set for herself when posing for Playboy was whether she would gain the approval of one very special celebrity friend.

“The only person I asked if I should do it or not was Sofia Vergara. I called her and told her, ‘If you tell me not to do it, I won’t,'” Karol said, per People.

“‘Mijita, with that body?'” Karol said Vergara told her. “When you get to this age, you tell yourself, ‘F–k, why didn’t I pose that one time?'”

The cover arrives days before Coachella, which Karol is headlining alongside Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter. Karol is set to perform on April 12 and April 19.

“They called me and told me—in Spanish—that I was going to be the first Latina to close the festival,” she told Playboy. “I feel like it’s a show for my community, for the world, but it’s a show that’s very much for me.”

The 35-year-old made her Coachella debut in 2022, during which she brought out J Balvin for a performance of his hit “Mi Gente.” Last year, Karol released her fifth studio album, Tropicoqueta, which earned her a Grammy nomination for best Latin pop album.
