Justin Bieber and two friends took a moment to rap about Jesus while hiking on Friday in Los Angeles. “He’s a priest, a prophet, a king,” Bieber rapped, also taking a moment to call Jesus a “messiah.”

Bieber and his friends asked a paparazzo to spit his own verse, as TMZ footage shows. The photographer obliged with some lyrics—and Bieber was evidently impressed, nodding in agreement with his rhymes.

In September, Bieber officially applied for American citizenship, which may be motivated by his recent engagement to model Hailey Baldwin. Last month, rumors swirled that Bieber and Baldwin were already married, but Baldwin cleared up any miscommunication, tweeting that they haven't done so just yet.

“I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Back in July, it was reported that Bieber proposed to Baldwin. Bieber confirmed the news shortly after on Instagram. “Was gonna wait a while to say anything word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you,” he captioned the post.
