J Balvin has landed another No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart.

The Colombian artist’s song “Si Te Vas,” featuring Jay Wheeler, is now Balvin’s 40th track to sit atop the list, extending his own record.

“Jay brought something special to this record, and I’m grateful we got to create it together,” J Balvin told Billboard. “To break another record and see the fans embrace the song like this means a lot.”

During the last week of February, the song opened at No. 32 on the Latin Airplay chart, before climbing to the top 10 the next week, then to No. 3, before ascending to No. 1.

“It’s an honor to be part of ‘Si Te Vas’ alongside J Balvin, whom I admire and respect,” Wheeler told the outlet. “He has been partly an inspiration for my musical career, and knowing that we are No. 1 validates that romanticism and reggaetón continue to connect in a solid way not only with our fans but with anyone who listens to the song.”

“Si Te Vas” is Wheeler’s third No. 1, with his last two arriving in the same year: in 2021, “Viendo El Techo” and “Dos Tragos” took the preeminent spot. He also landed two No. 3 entries between 2022 and 2025.

In addition to topping Latin Airplay, “Si Te Vas” is spending a second week at No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.
