While Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones Pt. II” is a classic, the song’s music video shoot could have ended in disaster.
Havoc looked back on the moment in an episode of Vevo’s Footnotes.
“One shocking moment was when me and a guy from my block got into an argument because he felt he wasn’t getting enough shine in the video,” Hav recalled.
“We started fighting and we both fell into a puddle of water, and one of the movie lights fell in with us. We could have gotten electrocuted to death. That was wild.”
The 49-year-old emcee and producer later told TMZ that he and the guy who fought figured things out and they have remained friends.
Elsewhere, Havoc described the grueling process behind filming.

A few weeks after joining forces as the duo Wreckage Manner, celebrated rap acts Styles P and Havoc have shared their self-titled collaborative album.
“The most challenging part of making the video was staying awake because we shot non-stop from early that morning to 7 a.m. the next day,” he said. “My favorite scene is when we have the whole crew behind us, and Prodigy and myself have on the Hennessy jerseys."
The video was shot in Queensbridge in Queens, New York, which he said gives it a more, “grimy edge and authentic feel.”
