Flavor Flav is looking back on his relationship with Brigitte Nielsen.

The unusual couple met in 2004 as participants on VH1’s reality show, Surreal Life 3.

“She was always naked on TV. And her hygiene wasn't great. You know, she goes to bathroom, not wash her hands, and stuff,” Flav said of Nielsen on Marshawn Lynch and Mike Robinson’s Get God Pod, at around the 19:55 minute mark.

“So one day she reached over to touch my face, and I knocked her hand down. I said, ‘Yo, I don’t want nobody touching my face.’ She said, ‘You don’t want nobody touching your face?’ I said, ‘No.’ She said, ‘Okay.’ Bow. Smack the shit out of me.”

“I ain’t going to lie, but I hadn’t had pussy in three weeks, three and a half weeks, four weeks, or some shit like that. So, here I am laying in my bed, man. Brigitte comes and jumps in my bed, butt ass naked,” Flav continued. “So I’m like, ‘Holy shit.’”

“So I’m like, ‘Hold up. Chill. Chill.’ I went in the bathroom, strapped up, came back out,” he described. “Got in the bed. She turned towards me. I said, ‘No, don’t turn towards me. No, turn around. I got this back here. I got this back here.’ You just face forward ‘cause you know we on cameras, man. That’s 24/7.

“Here we is making out. Next thing you know, she falls off the bed, and she drags the cover with her. I had to do the quick slip like that,” he added. “But anyway, though, we fell in love on Surreal Life 3.”

Their romance led to the VH1 spin-off, Strange Love. After one season of the show and one year of dating, the couple ultimately didn’t work out; Nielsen later went to Italy and married her now-husband, Mattia Dessì.

With the show’s ending, Flavor Flav went on to star in the VH1 reality show, Flavor of Love, which aired for three seasons. The series ended when Flav proposed to Elizabeth Trujillo, who was already the mother of his son, Karma.
