Doja Cat has eclipsed Drake as the rapper with the most monthly listeners on Spotify.

Doja clocked in over 300k more listeners than Drake for a monthly total of 63.6m, while Drake garnered 63.3m, according to the Spotify app.

Lil Nas X also had more listeners than Drake, with over 63,623,00 listeners, and behind them is The Kid Laroi, who had 60.5m. It seems that Spotify’s monthly listener numbers have fluctuated as of late. In August, Hypebeast reported that Nas X saw 52.3m monthly streams and in May, DaBaby had over 54m. However, the “Suge” rapper’s numbers have considerably dropped since then, to 43.1m.

Doja dropped off her third studio album Planet Her in late June, which opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The project boasted features from Young Thug, The Weeknd, SZA, J.I.D, and Ariana Grande. Her song with SZA, “Kiss Me More” landed in the Top 5 of both Spotify’s Top U.S. Songs of Summer 2021 and Top Global Songs of Summer 2021, at No. 2 and No. 5, respectively.

Drake’s latest effort, Certified Lover Boy bowed at No. 1 on the chart, and then subsequently spent three straight weeks in the first slot—beating out Nas X’s debut studio album, Montero, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in late September.
