Doja Cat reclaims the '70s in her latest video for “Say So.”
In the Hannah Lux Davis-directed visual, we see Doja lusting after a repairman. In typical Doja fashion, the artist dons multiple shimmery, sequinned outfits and bright blonde hair. A tiger even makes a cameo, as does the famous teen TikToker who created a viral dance to the song, Haley Sharpe.
“Say So” became a hit on TikTok, landing the No. 1 spot on the platform’s Top 200 Songs chart. Sharpe created a viral dance for the song, which Doja does in the video herself. Sharpe also appears during the roller rink scene to perform the dance.
On Wednesday, the day before the “Say So” video arrived, Doja performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The song appeared on Doja’s 2019 album Hot Pink, which included features from Tyga, Smino, and Gucci Mane.
The artist has also announced her Hot Pink Tour, a North American headlining run that will kick off on March 25 and make stops in Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and Austin, before concluding on April 15 in San Francisco.
