DDG has tapped Gunna for the new collaboration, “Elon Musk.”
The Pontiac, Michigan native goes back-to-back with Gunna over an ethereal 808-heavy beat, as both proclaim, “Like I’m Elon Musk.” The song’s cover art seems to be a reference to DDG currently training to be the first rapper in space, as well as a nod to Musk’s obsession with space.
Last year, DDG and OG Parker dropped off their joint project Die 4 Respect, which included assists from Lil Yachty, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Coi Leray, 42 Dugg, and more.
Gunna also recently shared his album DS4EVER, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 and boasted appearances from Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Chlöe Bailey, and Lil Baby, among others. In fact, Gunna shared the video for his Chlöe-featuring song “You & Me,” amid rumors that he and the singer are now dating. It’s also rumored that DDG is dating Chlöe’s sister Halle, with fans jokingly nicknaming DDG and Gunna the Bailey brothers.
