Coi Leray isn’t tripping over Cardi B mentioning her while dissing Bia — but what she is upset about are the reports that she was upset about it.
On Monday (September 22), Instagram account @peridotloaded shared a post expressing Coi’s supposed annoyance with Bardi. "I just hate my name being mentioned, I’m way bigger than Bia so I didn’t quite understand that comparison. She should have compared her with someone else," the account quoted Leray as saying.
The "Twinnem" rapper later hopped in the comments, shutting down rumors that she’s upset with Cardi. "I never said anything about anything. They literally made this shit up. Get a life!! Cardi whole album fire," Leray wrote.
Coi Leray also shared a screenshot of her text thread with Cardi on her IG Story. "Blah don’t worry bout it they don’t know us," Cardi appears to tell Leray, who captioned the post: "'Cause if ykyk."
Cardi B disses Bia throughout "Pretty and Petty," taken from her new album Am I the Drama?, rapping on the second verse: "They only book you when they can't afford Coi."
On the same song, the Bronx hitmaker also calls Bia, "diarrhea Bia" and asks, "Why you always at Diddy house?" Cardi opens the first verse by saying: "Name five Bia songs, gun pointin' to your head / Baow, I'm dead."
Cardi claimed last June that she and Bia started beefing after the Massachusetts-bred rapper began subbing Cardi and claimed she copied Bia’s flow on "Like What (Freestyle)." Around that same time, Bia dissed Cardi on her song "Sue Meee?" and Cardi claimed that Bia spread rumors about a sex tape involving Cardi and another man. Now, Cardi has fired back with "Pretty & Petty."
